LG to unveil personalized AI-powered products at IFA 2026 in Berlin

SEOUL, Sept. 3 (Yonhap) -- LG Electronics Inc., a major South Korean home appliance maker, said Thursday it will showcase personalized artificial intelligence (AI)-powered products at IFA 2026, a major home electronics trade show in Berlin.

LG will present around 150 products under the theme of "Innovation Tailored to You" at the annual tech show, which runs from Wednesday through Sunday (local time).

In its AI home zone, LG will recreate real-life living spaces to demonstrate how AI can understand the conditions and activities in each space and provide necessary functions, the company said.

LG will also unveil for the first time ThinQ Clo, an autonomous AI agent with enhanced capabilities, built into its next-generation AI home hub, LG ThinQ ON.

The company will also showcase a range of products under its Fit & Max lineup, targeting the European market.

Fit & Max combines designs that blend seamlessly into spaces, similar to built-in appliances, with technologies aimed at maximizing performance and convenience.

"We will strengthen our leadership in the global premium home appliance market with a more convenient and expanded AI home ecosystem encompassing AI appliances, AI home hubs and AI home platforms," said Baek Seung-tae, head of LG Electronics' home appliance business.

LG said about 46 percent of its entire exhibition space will be dedicated to consultation areas for business partners, as it seeks to expand B2B customers.
