Jagang Province Focuses on Consolidating Material and Technical Foundations for Producing Building Materials

 Pyongyang, September 6 (KCNA) -- Jagang Province of the DPRK is concentrating its efforts on expanding the capacity for the production of building materials for the regional and rural construction.
The province is conducting a campaign to inform the workers of the importance of increasing both quality and output of building materials. It is also resolving problems arising in adjusting and reinforcing the equipment and expanding the capacity.
At the units under their charge, officials of the provincial management bureau for regional construction and building-materials production learn about the improvement of the equipment's performance and the introduction of new technologies, and provide technical guidance so that the innovations developed by workers prove effective in production.
Kanggye Building Materials Factory built the lines for producing liquid water-proofing material and colored roofing tiles, and laid a foundation for making quality plastic pipes of various sizes.
Manpho August 2 Cement Factory has secured enough spare parts to operate the equipment at full capacity. As a result, it is recording good results every day. It is also making progress in improving the quality of cement by procuring new experimental equipment and improving the quality-inspection method.
Huichon Tile Factory installed more equipment to standardize tiles in cooperation with the relevant unit and completed establishing an assembly line.
Kanggye Paving Blocks Factory and Kanggye Stone Processing Factory are achieving more successes in putting production on normal track, expanding the variety of products and developing new products. -0-
