Al-Baha Region Advances Mountain Sports through Climbing Partnership

   Al-Baha, September 8, 2026, SPA -- The Strategic Office for Developing Al-Baha Region, in partnership with the Saudi Climbing and Hiking Federation (SCHF), is strengthening its efforts to develop mountain sports in the region, leverage its natural and geographical assets to attract quality events and tournaments, expand climbing participation, and support national talent and enthusiasts.
   This partnership was embodied in the National Boulder Championship 2026, held in the region as one of the quality sporting events that align with the region's natural features and mountainous terrain, diversifying sporting experiences and enhancing the region's position as a mountain sports destination.
