Saudi Arabia Presents Piece of Kaaba Kiswa to Arab League Secretary-General upon Royal Directives

   Cairo, September 08, 2026, SPA -- On the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and on behalf of Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed Elkhereiji presented Arab League Secretary-General Nabil Fahmy with a piece of the Holy Kaaba's Kiswa as a gift from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Arab League.
   The gift underscores the Kingdom's commitment to strengthening fraternal ties with Arab League member states, its appreciation of the Holy Kaaba's profound religious significance to Muslims worldwide, and its support for the Arab League's role in advancing joint Arab action.
