Chairman Kim Jong Il's Birth Anniversary Celebrated Abroad

 Pyongyang, February 21 (KCNA) -- The 84th birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il was celebrated in Laos, Myanmar, Pakistan, Switzerland, France, Serbia and Mexico from February 6 to 16.
Attending the celebrations were personages of political parties, organizations and institutions and members of the organizations for the study of the Juche idea and organizations for friendship and solidarity with the DPRK people in those countries.
Speeches were made at the celebrations.
The speakers highly praised Kim Jong Il for having devoted his all to the prosperity of the country and the happiness of the people and to the human cause of independence.
They stressed that the DPRK people would always emerge victorious under the guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who has consolidated the might of socialist Korea in every way by carrying forward the cause of Kim Jong Il.
They hoped that a brighter future would be opened up for the DPRK people greeting the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea.
A congratulatory message to the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un was adopted at the celebration event in Switzerland. -0-
