Construction of New Building Materials Bases Accelerated in DPRK

 Pyongyang, September 9 (KCNA) -- According to Rodong Sinmun, a project for building new building materials bases and expanding their production capacity has been stepped up across the country to supply enough building materials for regional and rural construction.
North Hamgyong Province is hastening the construction of the base for framing aluminum sashes at the final stage to supply various sizes of aluminum sashes to the construction and modernization projects.
Nampho Municipality has directed big efforts to building a tile factory with large capacity and expanding the production capacity of the Kangso Cement Factory while promoting the work to strengthen the foundation for building building materials in districts and counties.
Jagang Province is striving to increase the capacity of the Manpho August 2 Cement Factory, the Kanggye Building Materials Factory and the Huichon Tile Factory, which play a big role in regional construction and rural housing construction.
North Hwanghae Province, too, has striven to boost the production capacity of regional cement factories. -0-
