'Sword and Rifle' Races to Highlight Crown Prince Camel Festival Finale

   Taif, September 13, 2026, SPA -- The eighth edition of the Crown Prince Camel Festival 2026 will conclude today at the historic Taif Camel Racing Track with 20 races for the Hail and Zamoul categories, highlighted by four races for the Sword and Rifle trophies, with prizes totaling SAR10.9 million.
   The morning session will feature 16 races over a distance of six kilometers, divided between the general and open categories, with prizes totaling SAR1.3 million, while the evening session will be dedicated to the four concluding races.
   The camels will compete for the Crown Prince Camel Festival Rifle in the Zamoul General and Zamoul Open categories and for the Crown Prince Camel Festival Sword in the Hail General and Hail Open categories. The winner of each of the two Hail races will receive SAR1.5 million.
   The eighth edition featured 248 races across the Haqayeq, Laqaya, Jatha'a, Thanaya, Hail, and Zamoul categories, in addition to the Saudi Production competitions. The festival also introduced Mazayen competitions to its program for the first time.
   The Crown Prince Camel Festival is held under the patronage of HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. Organized by the Saudi Camel Racing Federation, the festival offers prizes exceeding SAR50 million.
