Andrei Stenin International Press Photo Contest Exhibition opens in Tehran

Tehran, IRNA – The Andrei Stenin International Press Photo Contest Exhibition has kicked off in collaboration with the Mehr News Agency and the Iranian Photographers’ House in Tehran.
The event has completed its 11th competitive edition. Out of approximately 2,000 works submitted to the contest secretariat by photographers from 40 countries, works by young photographers from 15 countries, including Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Russia, Spain, and Myanmar, have made it into this event.
A collection of visual narratives by young people about contemporary world events is on display in the form of news and documentary photography, covering social and human developments, crises, the environment, daily life, and other realities of the world.
The works of the participants have traditionally been judged, at the initiative of the Rossiya Segodnya media group, by experts from major global media outlets and renowned, internationally awarded photographers.
Displaying the selected works in the form of an exhibition tour across different countries is part of the program of this international competition.
The Andrei Stenin International Press Photo Contest Exhibition is an annual event in news photography, held to discover young talent, support professional standards in news photography, and elevate documentary photography standards in Russia and worldwide.
This exhibition will be underway until September.
