Iran, Kazakhstan discuss ways to expand cooperation in sports, tourism

Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s ambassador to Kazakhstan, Ali-Akbar Jokar, and Kazakhstan’s Minister of Tourism and Sports, Yerbol Myrzabossynov, have discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in sports and tourism.

Jokar met with Myrzabossynov on Monday to discuss ways to expand bilateral cooperation in sports and tourism.

The two sides emphasized expanding interactions, actively participating in international events, and holding specialized meetings to introduce the tourism potential and capabilities of Iran and Kazakhstan.

Referring to the US attacks on a sports hall in Lamerd County and other sports facilities in Iran, Jokar stressed the need for the global sports community to react to such criminal actions.

Myrzabossynov, for his part, welcomed the growing relations between the two countries and expressed his country’s readiness to expand bilateral cooperation with Iran in sports and tourism.
