SDPM leaves for New York
(KPL) A high ranking delegation of Laos led by Standing Deputy Prime Minister Somsavat Lengsavad left Vientiane last week for New York, where he will report and defend the National report No. 6 and 7 on the implementation of the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination (CEDAW).
The presentation of the report will be held on 20-27 July at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
An official farewell ceremony for the delegation was held on 17 July at the Prime Minister’s Office in the presence of ministers, deputy ministers and high ranking officials concerned.
