Naif Arab University Organizes Symposium on Emerging Digital Security Threats in Paris

   Paris, September 22, 2026, SPA -- An international symposium on emerging threats to international peace and security in the digital age, organized by Naif Arab University for Security Sciences in cooperation with the Center for Diplomatic and Strategic Studies, began yesterday in Paris, France, bringing together Arab and international experts and representatives of relevant institutions for three days.
   In his opening remarks, the university's Vice President for External Relations Khalid Alharfash said rapid digital transformation and advances in artificial intelligence and cyberspace have created new threats that transcend borders, making digital security a shared responsibility that requires international cooperation.
   He highlighted the university's efforts to strengthen security capacity-building and cooperation, noting that it has conducted scientific and training programs in more than 52 countries in partnership with leading international institutions, notably INTERPOL.
   The symposium addresses emerging cyber threats, digital warfare, international legal frameworks for combating cybercrime, cybersecurity and incident response, and mechanisms for international cooperation against cross-border cyberattacks.
