Al-Zaidi And Pezeshkian Stress The Importance Of Concerted Efforts To Spare The Region Further Tensions And Crises

Baghdad / NINA / – Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stressed the importance of concerted efforts to address regional challenges, safeguard security and stability, and prevent further escalation and crises.

A statement from the Prime Minister’s Media Office said: “Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi met today, Wednesday, in New York with President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian, on the sidelines of his participation in the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.”

“During the meeting, the two sides discussed regional developments and emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts to address challenges in a manner that strengthens security and stability, prevents the expansion of the cycle of escalation, and averts further tensions and crises,” the statement added./End
