DPRK Wins Gold Medals at 20th Asian Games

 Pyongyang, September 24 (KCNA) -- DPRK players Ri Song Gum and Kang Hyon Gyong bagged gold medals at the 20th Asian Games.
Weightlifter Ri Song Gum lifted 94kg in snatch (a new world record, a new Asian record and a new record of the games) and 121kg in clean and jerk (a new world record, a new Asian record and a new record of the games) and 215kg in total (a new world record, a new Asian record and a new record of the games) and took the first place in the women's weightlifting 49 kg category on September 23. 
Kang Hyon Gyong bagged a gold medal in the women's weightlifting 53kg category by lifting 99kg in snatch (a new record of the games) and 124kg in clean and jerk (a new record of the games) and 223kg in total (a new record of the games).
Meanwhile, DPRK players Ri Jin Mi and Ri So Hyang came second and third respectively in the women's singles of softball tennis. -0-
