Large Area of New Pastures Created in Jagang Province of DPRK

 Pyongyang, September 24 (KCNA) -- According to Rodong Sinmun, Jagang Province of the DPRK has turned thousands of hectares of land into pastures and created a large area of new meadow.
The province set a step-wise goal for creating pastures during the period of implementing the new Five-Year Plan and has pushed ahead with the project.
Huichon City, and Janggang, Chosan, and Hwaphyong counties made progress in the work.
Meanwhile, the province has organized a visit to the units profiting from pastures in their regions to generalize their experience.
The province is now concentrating on increasing the number of grass-eating domestic animals on a large scale. -0-
