20th National Machine Design Festival Opens

 Pyongyang, September 24 (KCNA) -- The 20th National Machine Design Festival opened with due ceremony at the Sci-Tech Complex here on Sept. 23.
Taking part in the festival are officials, designers, teachers and researchers from more than 90 units across the country. On display there are hundreds of scientific research achievements, including design of machinery and equipment and design support program, and products and models.
During the festival, there will be a presentation on mechanical design information technology and a multi-dimensional mechanical design contest.
Present at the opening ceremony were Vice-Premier of the Cabinet Ri Kyong Il, Minister of Machine-building Industry Ri Kwang Nam, officials concerned, officials of the exhibitor units and working people.
The vice-premier made an opening address.
At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round the venue of the festival. -0-
