Phuket Prepares Homecoming for AGT Winner Nene Royal

PHUKET, Sept 25 (TNA) - Phuket authorities are preparing a celebration for 16-year-old Rattikarn Amloy, known as "Nene Royal," following her victory on America’s Got Talent 2026, local officials said on Friday.

Romdon Hayeearwae, deputy governor and spokesperson for Phuket province, told reporters at Provincial Hall that the official schedule for her arrival is being finalized.

Once she returns, local authorities plan to parade Nene Royal and her family through Phuket Town in an open-top electric vehicle, organized in coordination with the Phuket Provincial Administrative Organization, Phuket City Municipality, and private partners.

Officials said the Ministry of Culture is also coordinating to present gifts and traditional Thai attire to the winner, framing the achievement as a driver for the country's soft power initiatives.

Romdon added that the win is expected to boost local tourism ahead of the peak season, noting that the talent show referenced Phuket as a top travel destination. The Tourism Authority of Thailand anticipates an increase in visitor arrivals following the international exposure.

To leverage the momentum, provincial authorities plan to host a youth music competition at Central Phuket in collaboration with local organizations to encourage young talent.

The homecoming event will be held under the slogan "FROM PHUKET. TO THE WORLD. — Welcome Home, Nene Royal." -819 (TNA)
