Iran attends International United Cultures Forum in Russia

Saint Petersburg, IRNA — The 12th International United Cultures Forum has opened in St. Petersburg with ministers and cultural figures from 70 countries, including Iran’s Culture and Islamic Guidance Minister Seyyed Abbas Salehi.

Salehi arrived in St. Petersburg on Thursday after a brief stop in Moscow. He is also scheduled to hold bilateral talks with his Russian counterpart.

After opening remarks by Russia’s deputy prime minister and culture minister, Salehi will deliver the first guest address.

The St. Petersburg International Forum of United Cultures is a unique platform where representatives from different countries, nationalities, and professions meet.

The forum is being held at the State Hermitage Museum from 24 to 26 September, with ministers and cultural figures from around the world.
