Ministry of Islamic Affairs Launches 14th Intensive Scholarly Course in Ethiopia

   Addis Ababa, September 29, 2026, SPA -- The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, represented by the Religious Attaché's Office at the Saudi Embassy in Ethiopia, launched the 14th intensive scholarly course in Addis Ababa yesterday. Held in cooperation with the Ibn Mas'oud Islamic Center, the four-day program targets preachers, imams, and students of Islamic sciences, with approximately 300 participants.
   The course features an academic program that grounds participants in the fundamentals of Sharia and deepens their religious knowledge.
   The initiative is part of the ministry's ongoing efforts to train imams, preachers, and students of Islamic sciences and disseminate Islamic knowledge in accordance with the methodology of the Quran and Sunnah.
