Al-Baha University Climbs in Times Higher Education Rankings 2027

   Al-Baha, October 03, 2026, SPA -- Al-Baha University has strengthened its international standing by placing in the 1201–1400 band in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2027, which evaluated 2,297 universities from 118 countries and territories.
   The results showed improved performance in three key areas compared to the previous year. The teaching score rose from 19.5 to 20.3 points, the research environment score increased from 9.1 to 10.9, and the industry score recorded the largest gain, climbing from 21.9 to 29.6.
   Additionally, the university scored 75 points in International Outlook, its strongest indicator, while Research Quality reached 52.8 points. This reflects its growing presence in global academic collaboration and the quality of its research output.
