Melwah Racing Opens at 2026 International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition

Riyadh, October 04, 2026, SPA -- The Melwah Racing kicks off today as part of the International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2026, organized by the National Center for Falcons at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center in Malham, north of Riyadh.
This year's race features 12 rounds from October 4 to 9, covering six falcon chick types across two categories: owners and amateurs, and elite and professionals.
Participation in Melwah Racing is limited to chicks purchased at the International Falcon Breeders Auction, increasing the presence of farm-bred falcons in the competition.
Total prizes amount to SAR723,000 distributed across all rounds, with SAR261,000 for the owners and amateurs category and SAR462,000 for the elite and professionals category.
The race measures the falcon's speed and response over a 200-meter course from the starting point to the finish line.
