Pyongyang General Hospital Marks Its Founding Anniversary

 Pyongyang, October 6 (KCNA) -- It has been one year since the inauguration of the Pyongyang General Hospital.
During the past one year, the general hospital has offered advanced and different medical service to more than 400 000 persons and conducted at least 1 000 rounds of consultations and technical lectures for regional hospitals through a telemedicine service system.
Through its efforts to put various operations and curing diseases on a scientific basis, it succeeded in operating patients with rare diseases.
It brought a lot of patients back to life by introducing advanced medical technologies.
It offered ten-odd rounds of technical lectures to medical workers at provincial, city and county preventive and curative institutions while regularly operating the telemedicine service system and conducted consultations with provincial general hospitals in a responsible way to help them take relevant measures for treatment.
Symposiums sponsored by the general hospital served as opportunities for broadening the view of medical workers and helping them exchange achievements and experience gained in researches. -0-
