Successes Made in Production of Custom-built Equipment

 Pyongyang, October 6 (KCNA) -- The Taean Heavy Machine Complex in the DPRK is boosting production through a brisk mass technical innovation movement.
This year alone, more than 50 technical innovation proposals of practical significance have been introduced to make progress in improving the performance of equipment and the quality of products.
The complex corrected the unreasonable elements arising in the production of hydro-generator parts to save materials and manpower while reducing the manufacturing time.
It manufactured and introduced automatic temperature control and motor protection devices to improve the quality of winding insulating materials, thus raising the operation rate of equipment 1.1 times.
It has given impetus to the increase production to supply more machines to major sectors of the national economy, including the coal industry, and grand construction sites, by resolving technical problems arising in upgrading the performance of machines and equipment and ensuring their normal operation.
The complex has produced various kinds of accessories by itself and come up with valuable ideas, inventions and rationalization proposals.
It is also directing great efforts to producing high-quality improved machines by establishing a well-regulated quality management system. -0-
