Yemeni Ambassador: The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Directives to Regularize Yemenis Reflect Depth of Brotherly Relations

Riyadh, October 06, 2026, SPA -- Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Salem Saleh bin Braik expressed his thanks and appreciation to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for the leadership's care and attention toward the Yemeni people.
He said: "The directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in response to the request of Presidential Leadership Council President Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi concerning the regularization of the status of nationals residing in the Kingdom irregularly, represent an extension of Saudi Arabia's longstanding fraternal and humanitarian positions toward Yemen and its people."
He added: "These directives reflect the depth of the historic and brotherly relations between the two countries and peoples, and embody the continued concern and support Yemen receives from the Kingdom's leadership, particularly amid the exceptional circumstances facing the Yemeni people."
The ambassador called on concerned members of the Yemeni community to benefit from this initiative and comply with any official instructions and regulations to be issued. He affirmed that the Embassy of the Republic of Yemen in Riyadh will continue to coordinate with the relevant authorities and will inform citizens of all procedures and consular services related to the initiative as soon as they are received.
