Progress Made in Railway Transport Sector of DPRK

 Pyongyang, October 15 (KCNA) -- More than 90 locomotive workteams and 370-odd workers in the field of railway transport have fulfilled their yearly freight transport plans.
The Ministry of Railways directed efforts to establishing a unified command system and ensuring the safety of train operation, while organizing and guiding the transport for carrying necessary materials to the sites of great surge.
More than 20 units and a hundred and tens of engine drivers of the Pyongyang Railway Bureau fulfilled their yearly freight transport plans ahead of schedule.
80-odd workers of the Kaechon Railway Bureau carried out their yearly quotas.
Officials and workers of the Hamhung Railway Bureau have fulfilled their responsibilities and duties in the freight transport by effectively using the existing capacity.
