Concentrated Iron Ore Production Increases at Musan Mining Complex in DPRK
Pyongyang, October 18 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers of the Musan Mining Complex in the DPRK are boosting the production of concentrated iron ore. The amount has increased 1.3 times greater than the same period of last year.
The open branch mine has concentrated its rotary drills and excavators at the places suitable for the ore production and applied efficient mining and blasting methods to remove more earth and produce more iron ore.
The earth-removing and ore-conveying stations responsibly repaired and maintained their large cone crusher and belt conveyors. More heavy-duty trucks are in operation to convey more ores.
The tunneling units stopped the small-scale blasting and started the large-scale one.
The Musan Geological Survey Team is making more achievements by raising the operation rate of equipment and applying rational working methods.
The supply units proactively support the advance of the major production units through a campaign for technological innovations, giving priority to the production of necessary equipment, materials and accessories. -0-
