Makkah Municipality Issues Preventive Guidelines to Enhance Safety During Rainfall

   Makkah, October 20, 2026, SPA -- The Holy Makkah Municipality has released a set of preventive guidelines across its digital platforms, aimed at promoting safe practices and mitigating potential risks associated with rainfall.
   The municipality has urged citizens and residents to stay informed about weather conditions and to strictly follow the instructions issued by the relevant authorities. It further advised the public to exercise caution while driving by reducing speed and to stay away from flood channels, valleys, and areas where water accumulates.
   It cautioned people against attempting to cross flowing water and advised them to avoid standing or remaining in low-lying areas during and after rainfall.
   Additionally, the municipality encouraged the public to report any instances of rainwater accumulation or other concerns related to city services.
