International Date Council Showcases Dates at SIAL Paris 2026 to Expand Global Market Reach

   Paris, October 20, 2026, SPA -- The International Dates Council (IDC) is participating in SIAL Paris 2026, one of the world's largest food industry exhibitions, being held in the French capital from October 17 to 21.
   Through its participation in the National Center for Palms and Dates pavilion, the council is showcasing the quality and diversity of dates produced by its 17 member states. The participation aims to strengthen ties with importers, distributors, and food industry representatives while exploring commercial partnerships and opportunities to enter new international markets.
   In cooperation with Madinah Dates, the council is offering visitors the opportunity to sample Ajwa dates, one of Saudi Arabia's most prominent varieties, and learn about their nutritional value and historical significance. This helps introduce the product to international food industry professionals.
   SIAL Paris is a major global gathering for the food industry. According to the organizers, the 2026 edition features approximately 8,000 exhibitors and is expected to attract nearly 295,000 professionals from around 200 countries. The exhibition provides a platform for producers, importers, and buyers to establish business connections and explore the latest developments and emerging trends in global food markets.
