Founding Anniversary of WPK and Centenary of Formation of DIU Marked in Russia

 Pyongyang, October 28 (KCNA) -- Celebrations, meetings, seminars, film shows and Korean book, photo and handicraft exhibitions took place in the Maritime Territorial Branch Committee and the Buryatia's Republic Branch Committee of the Communist Party of Russian Federation, the Party for Peace and Unity, the Maritime Territorial Branch Council of the Socialist Political Party "For Just Russia", the Association for the Study of the Juche Idea, the Moscow Industry University and Khabarovsk, Irkutsk and Artyom cities of Russia on the occasion of the 81st founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea and the 100th anniversary of the formation of the Down-with-Imperialism Union.
Present at the events were personages of political parties, government, the State Duma, organizations and institutions of Russia and members of organizations for the study of the Juche idea and organizations for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people.
Screened at the film shows were videos dealing with making selfless, devoted service of the Workers' Party of Korea for the people and the proud development of the DPRK.
Speeches were made at the events.
Congratulatory messages to respected Comrade Kim Jong Un were adopted at the events. -0-
