Cultivating and Manuring of Winter Wheat and Barely in Farms of DPRK

 Pyongyang, October 28 (KCNA) -- Farms across the DPRK are directing efforts to cultivating and manuring winter wheat and barley next year.
North Hwanghae Province secures various nutrient solution and self-sufficient fertilizers and ensures the number of plants per phyong to reduce plant-missing rate.
South Hwanghae Province has made a survey of crop growth according to each field and plot and conducted the leaf fertilizing for improving nutrition in a planned way.
South Phyongan Province has taken agricultural and technical measures to increase the rate of wintering.
North Phyongan and South Hamgyong provinces are cultivating winter wheat and barley according to technical requirements to ensure sufficient indices of growth after calculating the sowing date of varieties. -0-
