Production Goes Up at Jagang Provincial Supply Coal Mine

 Pyongyang, October 28 (KCNA) -- The workers of the Jagang Provincial Supply Coal Mine under the Kaechon Area Coal-mining Complex are striving to implement the decisions of the Second Plenary Meeting of the Ninth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
The coal mine gives definite precedence to drilling and tunneling and raises the operating rate of equipment. And officials are giving effective technical guidance to actively utilize advanced blasting methods while taking timely measures for problems at tunneling platoons.
The coal mine has organized science and technology study, exhibition and application of technical innovation in a purposeful way to raise the level of technical skill of coal miners and high-speed tunneling contests.
It is putting spurs to the drive to carry out its annual coal production plan. -0-
