Manama, October 28, 2026, SPA -- Tuwaiq Academy has won the Best Digital Community Participation award at the 2026 GCC Digital Government Award 2026. The award was presented during a ceremony hosted by Bahrain.
The recognition highlights the academy’s role in developing national talent in technical fields, providing learning and professional development opportunities to diverse segments of society, and engaging students, developers, and innovators in addressing challenges presented by government and national entities through bootcamps, professional programs, technical competitions, and digital platforms.
The academy has delivered more than 3,000 bootcamps and professional programs, graduating over 60,000 participants. Notably, 82% of bootcamp graduates secured employment within three months of completing their programs.
Tuwaiq Academy CEO Abdulaziz Al-Hammadi described the award as a milestone in the academy’s efforts to expand learning, development, and competitive opportunities for national talent across all age groups. He stressed that investing in people is a fundamental pillar of development and said the achievement reflects the Kingdom’s progress in digital government, supported by the leadership and aligned with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The Digital Government Award for GCC countries provides a regional platform, based on international standards, for government entities to showcase best practices in digital service delivery. It aims to encourage competition, promote the exchange of successful experiences, and recognize initiatives that improve the quality of life.
