C.C., WPK Sends Congratulatory Message to Ryugyong General Ophthalmic Hospital

 Pyongyang, November 2 (KCNA) -- A meeting was held on November 1 to convey a congratulatory message from the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea to the medical workers and employees of the Ryugyong General Ophthalmic Hospital.
Present there were Kim Sung Du, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and officials and employees of the hospital.
Kim Sung Du read out the congratulatory message to the medical workers and employees of the hospital.
The WPK Central Committee in its congratulatory message noted that over the past decade our people and children affiliated with eye diseases had scientific checkups and treatment at the advanced and modernized hospital and that all those who received medical care at the hospital are grateful to our socialist system with pleasure as they could recover their sight and lead a brighter life.
The congratulatory message stressed it is unthinkable without the efforts of its medical workers and employees that the hospital has invariably added luster to its name as a precious wealth of the state in charge of protecting and taking care of the people's health.
It said it is a result of its enterprising efforts and innovations that the hospital won the honorable title of the Three-Revolution Red Flag, the Twice "Lathe No. 26" Model Machine Prize and the February 16 Science and Technology Prize, which are shining in its short history and it is due appraisal of the genuine public health group which has devoted talents, enthusiasm and conscience on the road of serving the people.
The WPK Central Committee in the message extended warm congratulations to the medical workers and employees of the hospital who are significantly commemorating its 10th founding anniversary with respectable and valuable pride of having turned it into an ophthalmic centre of our country and a medical institution with the highest level of medical treatment and service.
