Al-Atiyyah lauds Saudi cabinet's endorsement of Abu-Dhabi law on
Riyadh, July 21, SPA -- Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Atiyyah, the
Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), today lauded
the Saudi cabinet's approval during yesterday's weekly meeting to
enforce "Abu Dhabi Unified Regulation (Law) on Fighting Human
Trafficking in the Gulf Cooperation Council" according to the text
attached to the resolution "as a guidance regulation (law) for four
years."
The resolution has been adopted by the Supreme Council of the GCC
and was issued at its 27th session held in Riyadh on 18/19-11-1427 H.
In a statement, Al-Atiyyah expressed gratitude for the vital and
crucial role of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah
bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his keenness on implementing the
resolutions of the GCC supreme council in a way that meets the
aspirations of the GCC countries and citizens.
