WIFE`S BIRTHDAY WISH FOR THE PRIME MINISTER NAJIB

KUALA LUMPUR, July 22 (Bernama) -- Rosmah Mansor said that in
conjunction with the 56th birthday of her husband, Najib Tun Razak,
Thursday, she prayed that he would continue to carry out his tasks in a good,
fair and equitable manner for the sake of the race, religion and country.

Wishing the Prime Minister 'Happy Birthday', she said: "We will celebrate
Najib's birthday as usual tomorrow night with a special thanksgiving prayer to
be attended by family members and his political colleagues.

"I would like to wish him 'happy birthday' and hope that he will continue to
carry out his tasks well and in a fair and equitable manner," she told reporters
who asked her about the birthday celebration in conjunction with Najib's 56th
birthday.

She said this after visiting the Petronas Twin Towers, here Wednesday,
together
with members of the Wives of Ministers and Deputy Ministers Welfare Organisation
(Bakti).

Rosmah also said that she and her husband prayed that the people and country
would be safe and prosperous when they performed their umrah or minor haj
recently.

On the visit to the twin-towers lasting almost two hours, she said it was an
educational visit to give exposure to Bakti members on the activities carried
out and facilities provided by Petronas and the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC).

Bakti would also hold a series of talks to expose the members to various
matters such as how they could improve their personal image, grooming and public
speaking.

"I hope to see that members of Bakti and the wives of leaders are exposed to
various educational aspects and I wish to see that they become knowledgeable
wives of politicians," Rosmah added.
