Presidents of Civil Defense and Red Crescent Societies in Arab States Conclude Conference

Tunis, July 25, SPA--Presidents of Civil Defense and Red Crescent and
Cross Societies in Arab States concluded their 2nd conference here on
Friday.
Director of International Cooperation Department at Directorate
General of Civil Defense Brigadier Ismail Mohammed Badawi led Saudi
delegation to the conference on behalf of Director General of Civil
Defense Lieutenant General Saad bin Abdullah Al-Tuwaijri.
In its recommendations, the conference called on concerned bodies in
Arab states for activating the mechanism of consultation and
coordination to contribute to providing assistance, relief and rescue
work during disasters.
