LAST OF BURJ DUBAI'S GLASS PANELS TO BE INSTALLED SOON

DUBAI, July 29 (Bernama) -- The last piece of glass cladding of the world's
tallest building, Burj Dubai, is now ready and will be installed in the coming
weeks.

The six-metre long glass, aluminium and steel piece -- panel number 24,348
-- will be placed at the bottom of Burj Dubai's spire, according to a statement
from parties involved in the project.

Arabian Aluminium Company started work on the exterior cladding of Burj
Dubai in April 2007.

Panels of more than 18 different strength specifications and over 200 sizes
are being used for the building currently standing at over 800m.

Being developed by Emaar Properties, the tower is scheduled to open later
this year.
