RF, Azeri DMs discuss bilateral cooperation issues.

MOSCOW, August 2 (Itar-Tass) - Russian Defence Minister Anatoly
Serdyukov who is on a working visit to Baku has held a working meeting
with Azerbaijani Defence Minister Safar Abiyev.

"The sides discussed issues of the bilateral military and
military-technical cooperation of Russia and Azerbaijan, as well as
regional security problems," the RF defence minister's press secretary
Irina Kovalchuk said on Sunday.
The sides gave special attention at the meeting to the issue of
training of Azerbaijani military servicemen at academies of the Russian
Defence Ministry, said Kovalchuk.
Anatoly Serdyukov noted that the Russian side is interested in
expanding cooperation in the sphere of personnel training for the
Azerbaijani armed forces.
