Dalai Lama to visit Okinawa in November+

NAHA, Japan, Aug. 4 Kyodo -
Exiled Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama will visit the southern Japanese
island prefecture of Okinawa for the first time this fall and deliver a speech
in Naha on Nov. 5, local organizers of his visit said Tuesday.

The Dalai Lama will begin his 13th trip to Japan on Oct. 30 for a nine-day stay
in the country, during which he is also scheduled to give a speech in the
western Shikoku Island city of Matsuyama on Nov. 3, according to his liaison
office for Japan and East Asia.
