Mumbai, Aug 7 (PTI) Noted film lyricist Gulshan Bawra,

Friday following a heart attack.
He was 72 and is survived by his wife.
"Bawra, who was ailing for last several months, suffered
a heart attack at his suburban Bandra residence early today,"
his neighbour Monica Khanna told PTI.
"Bawra's family members in Delhi have been informed and
they are on their way to Mumbai," Khanna said.
However, there would be no cremation as Bawra had
expressed desire to donate his body, she said, adding that the
body would be taken to government J J Hospital here.
Born in present Pakistan, the lyricist moved to India
after partition.
In his 42 years of film career, he penned many popular
