MEXICAN DEPUTY FM ON THREE-DAY VISIT TO MALAYSIA

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 11 (Bernama) -- Mexican Deputy Foreign Minister Lourdes
Aranda began his three-day visit to Malaysia Tuesday where he is scheduled to
hold a bilateral meeting with his Malaysian counterpartLee Chee Leong in
Putrajaya.

Both leaders would discuss bilateral issues and exchange views on matters of
mutual interest, Wisma Putra said in a statement.

Aranda is scheduled to speak at the Asian Strategy & Leadership Institute
Wednesday and attend a seminar on "Doing Business with Mexico" organised by the
Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia on Thursday.

The statement said that the visit would pave the way for more visits at the
senior officials and ministerial levels between both countries in the future.
