Control effectiveness of new system of distribution of medicines
Astana, August 18, 2009 (Khabar) - Ministry of Fiancées will control effectiveness of new system of distribution of medicines
The government members have discussed results of implementation of common system of medicines distribution. The program was launched 5 years ago to economize budget funds and support national pharmaceutical producers.
Vadim Zverkov, general director of “SK-Pharmatsiya” LLP:
- The common sum of purchased medicines of “SK-Pharmatsiya” for the second half a year is 1,1 billion tenge though the planned sum was 1,8 billion tenge. So, we economized 700 million tenge and purchasing prices were reduced to 40% in comparison with average price that was planned. And cost of some medicines was cut to 77%.
But Almaty mayor Akhmetzhan Yesimov says medicines prices raise and don’t decrease and purchasing sum increased from 83 up to 113 millions in the largest city of country. Karim Massimov decided that final decisions will be made after the financial control. The Prime Minister has also instructed to consider possibility of implementation of system of unified procurement and leasing of medical equipment. The Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Healthcare and “Samruk-Kazyna” Fund must present their suggestions during one month.
