Realization of “100 schools, 100 hospitals” program
Semey, August 24 2009, Khabar - Four new schools will be opened in East Kazakhstani region in a new school year. In general it was planned to build 7 schools and 7 hospitals and polyclinics according to “100 schools, 100 hospitals” program. But the builders are behind the schedule. Eldar Sanenov is 6 years old and he lives in Kokpekty village. He will go to a new school that was recently built for 600 pupils. The state allocated about 700 million tenge for its construction. The school is lights with two gyms, computer classrooms and medical cabinet. But three schools will be not ended by September 1 because money was allocated lately, say the builders. The regional department of construction says they still didn’t receive 500 million tenge. The matter is also in building materials that became expensive. But residents still have no new hospital and patients are treated in an old building, which was constructed over 50 years and medical men of ambulance also work here.
The new hospital was began to be built in Kokpekty last century but wasn’t ended. And reconstruction was begun last year according to “100 schools, 100 hospitals” program with allocating about 1 billion 400 million tenge for it. 230 people already work at the building ground.
Kudaibergen Tolykbayev, director of Kokpekty district medical union:
- This new hospital will answer all constrctuion norms and demands and will serve for us in future.
The builders promise to end construction by the end of this year and the local authorities must settle the issue of purchasing of new equipment. The previous sum had already rose up to 600 millions tenge.
