Teachers held traditional August meeting in Taraz

Taraz, August 24 2009, Khabar - The main issue of the agenda is schools with three shifts of studying. The number of such schools reduced twice during the last year in the region due to the program “100 schools, 100 hospitals” and now only in 4 schools pupils will study in three shifts. This year five more schools will be opened in the region. One more problem is level of knowledge of rural pupils. According to the results of Common National Testing, Zhambyl school leavers showed the result lower than republican indicators. It was decided to pay special attention to the training and employing of pedagogical personnel.

- Most of our teachers teach few hours and that’s why they teach the other subjects. And we set up the task before the governors of districts to attract young graduates and excellent students to villages and create them conditions of life for their working in rural area and conditions for working at schools.
