Prosecutors demand four-year prison term for disgraced scientist

SEOUL, Aug. 24 (Yonhap) -- Prosecutors on Monday demanded a four-year jail term for a disgraced scientist charged with fraud after faking the results of stem cell cloning.

Hwang Woo-suk, once credited with successfully cloning human embryonic stem
cells, was indicted for misappropriating state research funds and other charges.
