POLICE FOILS ATTEMPTED HUMAN TRAFFICKING

Bandung, August 24 (ANTARA)-- The police managed to foil an attempted human trafficking to Malaysia on Monday.

Besides the five people saved from trafficking, the police also arrested WW (32).

They told the police they were about to be sent to Malaysia for employment. They also could not tell the police which recruiting company were sending them. Based on this fact the police suspected that they were illegal workers.

The raid was started by information the police has obstained about a company recruiting a number of women in Bandung Barat regency for dispatch overseas.
