Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques chairs Cabinet`s weekly meeting 3 Jeddah


The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques directed all relevant sectors
to provide the maximum effort that achieve comfort, tranquility and
safety for the people of Al-Ais following their return, praying to
Allah the Almighty to preserve this country from all evil.

The Council also listened to a presentation by the Minister of
Finance on the report of the IMF consultations with the Kingdom of
Saudi Arabia on the 2009 Article IV. The report stressed that the
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia confronts the current global crisis with
stronger fundamentals. Also, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia consolidated
their macroeconomic position, strengthened the financial sector, and
implemented structural reforms to boost private-sector led growth.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was ranked first among Arab countries for
four consecutive years and 16th globally by the latest World Bank’s
Doing Business Report.

The Cabinet confirmed that the Kingdom is continuing the
implementation of all of its policies, procedures and reforms to
achieve more strength and durability of the Saudi economy, and
promote confidence in its ability to withstand the current global
crisis.
