New school from “Kazatomprom” company

Kyzylorda, September 01, 2009 (Khabar) - “Kazatomprom” national company presented a gift to the residents of Kokshoky settlement in Kyzylorda region. A new school has been opened here for the Constitution Day. This village appeared at the site of working settlement near uranium pits and the population of Kokshoky increased during the last years. The children studied in an old school that was built about 40 years ago and wasn’t repaired for over 20 years. “Kazatomprom” national company invested about 500 million tenge for reconstruction of school. New building for 400 pupils was built here and equipment for classrooms of biology, library and reading hall were bought. Gym was also built for pupils. 840 school children will study at the school from now on.
Vladimir Shkolnik, president of “Kazatomprom” has also handed the keys from 16-flat house to the workers of pit. The company allocated 90 million tenge for ending of construction of this house.
