S. Korean drama sold to Japan before local showing

SEOUL, Sept. 4 (Yonhap) -- The South Korean TV sitcom "High Kick Through the Roof" has been sold to Japan ahead of its local airing and will be broadcast throughout the neighboring country beginning November, producers of the series said Friday.

All 120 slated episodes of the sitcom, a sequel to "Unstoppable High Kick" widely
popular 2006-2007, has been sold to SoNet, a Sony-affiliated Internet and
television service provider in Japan, Seoul's Chorokbaem Media said in a press
release.
"High Kick...," a family comedy series directed by Kim Byung-ook, will be aired
by South Korean broadcaster MBC beginning Monday. Kim's previous series was also
aired in Japan twice.
