Opening of new mosque in Almaty region

Taldykorgan, September 12 2009, Khabar - Opening of new mosque village of Kalpe in the Almaty region. During the sacred month of Ramadan, the village of Kalpe in the Almaty region has witnessed the opening of a new mosque. The Karatal district and its frontier territories are called the land of the 18 Saints. During four years, the district has witnessed the construction of six mosques. The Zholbarys batyr mosque, which was constructed by local businessmen, seats 300 people. Also, it is planned to establish courses, where local young people will study religion. The local clergy believe that the main aim of these courses is to impart respect for the cultural and moral heritage of the ancestors of the young people.
