Dr Tawfiq Khoja Commends Cabinet's Approval of Health Care

Riyadh, September 13, SPA -- The Director General of Executive Office
of Council of Health Ministers of The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC),
Dr. Tawfiq bin Ahmed Khoja, who is a member of the team in charge of
preparing GCC health care strategy, has commended the Cabinet's
approval of the health care strategy.

In a press statement on this occasion, Dr. Tawfiq has
expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the Government of the
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al
Saud for approving this strategy, which comes in light of the
pioneering steps, successive accomplishments, and qualitative leaps
in the health process in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He pointed out that this strategy had been circulated to the GCC
countries and The World Health Organization as a model for developed
health strategies in the region.
